Fernando leads the Head of the global third-party events organization of SAP. His responsibilities include event portfolio definition and execution of the presence of SAP at major global conferences and tradeshows such as MWC, Sibos, NRF or WebSummit. Third-party events are in the process of becoming a key strategic area within the SAP events portfolio, as the need to increase brand visibility and recognition is becoming pivotal in SAP’s marketing strategy.
In his role, Fernando oversees portfolio selection, contents, event marcom strategies, and campaigns as well as event operations. Previously, he played various consulting, marketing and communication roles in SAP as well as in other global companies such as Dun and Bradstreet Software. Fernando holds a bachelor degree in business administration and he is passionate about event marketing, building the best event experiences and elevates the role of the corporate event managers within the organizations.
