A hybrid future for conferences, according to C2

It is definitely one of the most innovative conferences in the world, generating an uncommon enthusiasm in both meeting professionals and business people for its new formats and focus on understanding, engaging with, stimulating its participants to generate experiences which stimulate creativity and business. C2 holds an annual 3-day international conference in Montreal, to facilitate collaboration and networking within the business and creative communities. It was conceived by the creative agency Sid Lee in partnership with Cirque du Soleil. But C2 is not dogmatic and in these strange times, is embracing the potential of online. In this session, Anick Beaulieu will remind us some of the principles and most innovative components of C2, tell us how they now combine face-to-face and online communication and community-building, and give her view of the future we can all build.

Anick Beaulieu, VP Growth & partnerships, C2 International

After getting a marketing and economics degree at HEC Montréal, Anick spent five years as a co-entrepreneur in real estate and joined C2’s sales team in 2015. She quickly added business development and partnerships to her repertoire. Through her deals with institutions such as IBM, Facebook, and RBC, she has elevated the partnership to new heights. Her strength is in linking great ideas to revenue, understanding partners’ business goals to forge meaningful and lasting partnerships.
