Session: Behavior design basics for event organizers

Event organizers are constantly looking for new things to do at their events. Often these grandiose plans are ingenious and logistically sophisticated but fail when no one engages as expected. It doesn’t matter how clever your solution is, it’s difficult to make people use or do something new, especially if they doesn’t satisfy a need they have in mind. In order to create successful experiences, organizers should focus on the behaviours that an attendee should perform and design appropriate paths for these behaviours to happen. During this presentation we will learn the basics behind behaviour design and some ways in which it can be applied to your next event while discussing plenty of case studies from successes and failures from around the world.
